 Joy amidst hardship

In Arusha, Tanzania, Sara has opened her home to some deeply impoverished children. When she looked up she had 100 children and no money, food or school supplies. This remarkable place left a lasting impression on me of the possibility of joy in the midst of hardship. Charming the World™ has committed to fund their uniforms, school supplies, regular food drops for six months, while we do a feasibility study for a school and dorm. An initial $6000 for the basic food and supplies is needed to sustain the children while we develop a long term plan.

  • A Charming the World Book about children in Tanzania. This photographic essay is of a small day-care center in Arusha, Tanzania. The book highlights both the challenges and the courage of the children and the women who are helping. They need funding for basic nutrition, academic materials and a safer shelter.
  • Daisy visited the students and brought books, educational posters and a month of food supplies but this is not nearly enough.
